Savannah to Host AVDA Annual Meeting & Election of Officers

AVDA will be holding its Annual Meeting on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at The Westin Savannah Harbor Golf Resort and Spa in Savannah, Georgia, in conjunction with its Annual Conference.

The AVDA Nominating Committee will present a slate of candidates for the 2007-2008 Board of Directors, which will be voted upon by AVDA’s Active membership at the May 1st meeting. An email with ballot information will be sent to members prior to the annual meeting.

AVDA Associate Members will also elect an Associate Member Director and Alternate Associate Member Director during the meeting via paper ballot. The term for each office is two years. One representative from each Associate Member company is allowed to vote.

Lorne Elder of Welch Allyn will be running for the position of Associate Member director. He is currently the Alternate Associate Member Director on the AVDA board.
