Attendance Up for AVDA

Annual Conference in Scottsdale

With several weeks left before the 2004 Annual Conference kicks off in Scottsdale, Arizona on May 16, pre-registration is up considerably over last year. More than 140 are expected to attend the upcoming event. For a complete list of pre-registrants click here.

This year’s meeting will have a variety of speakers, discussing issues of value to animal health distributors and manufacturers and promoting cooperation and communication between channel partners.

One of the most “talked about” issues in the animal health industry is drug compounding. In an effort to bring drug compounding to the forefront, AVDA has assembled a panel of experts to discuss the state of compounding in the industry; its impact on the equine industry and drug development; its therapeutic use in private companion animal practices; and your power and choices as individual companies.

Panelists include Dr. Neal Bataller of Food and Drug Administration, Center for Veterinary Medicine; Dr. Dennis Feinberg, DVM, Charles Towne Veterinary Hospital and President of the American Animal Hospital Association; and Dr. Joe Bertone, DVM, of College of Veterinary Medicine at Western University of Health Sciences.

Don’t forget to register for the 2004 Annual Conference, being held in Scottsdale, Arizona from May 16-18 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess.
