Several years ago, AVDA joined the Association Education Alliance (AEA) which brings over 40 distributor trade associations together to offer unique industry related training opportunities. Via AVDA’s partnership with AEA, AVDA members can participate in programs at discounted rate. AVDA members regularly participate in programs such as UID. The Young Distribution Professionals Conference (YDP) was a new edition to offered courses and sold out in one month. The course will be held August 5 – 7 in Chicago, IL and is designed specifically for young or new managers with careers in industrial distribution. Additional sessions of YDP will be added to the 2008 schedule to meet demand.
Two more webinars are scheduled for the
year,
Marketing Strategies for the Entire Sales Channel on July 25 by
Scott Deming and
Professional Telephone Etiquette on October 10 by John Gray. An
in-person seminar of The Habit of Selling by Don Buttrey is scheduled
for October 2 – 4 in Columbus, OH. Check the
