Regulatory Updates and Training

Many AVDA members are aware that we have a partnership with Cegedim Dendrite and BuzzeoPDMA, which allows AVDA members access to the State Monitor Service. Cegedim Dendrite and BuzzeoPDMA will host a conference focusing on Controlled Substances November 4 - 6 in Arlington, VA. AVDA members are invited to attend and have been extended a 5% registration discount. Simply mention that you are with AVDA when you register (there is no minimum number of attendees needed to receive this discount). More information can be found below.

7th Annual Controlled Substances Conference
November 4 - 6

7th Annual Controlled Substances Conference will discuss the Drug Enforcement Administration's (DEA's) recent Suspicious Order Monitoring compliance actions and the requirements for suspicious order monitoring, compliance reviews, findings, results and the overall challenges of handling controlled substances. Participants will learn how to handle an inspection and respond to the DEA. In addition, there will be individual workshops for Manufacturers, Distributors, Pharmacy and List I Chemicals.
