AVDA to Co-Sponsor Reception at NAVC

AVDA will partner with the KC Animal Health Corridor to co-sponsor a reception immediately following the Brakke Presentation on January 21, 2008 from 4 – 6pm during the North American Veterinary Conference (NAVC) in Orlando, Fla. Invitations with additional details will be sent to AVDA members in the coming months.

The KC Corridor is home to 37 global or US headquarters and has over 125 total companies involved in the animal health industry. For more information, please visit their website.

AVDA Offers New Online Access

AVDA members may already have noticed an additional button on the AVDA homepage called, AVDA Online. AVDA Online is a web portal which allows members to pay dues, register for events, purchase products, update contact information and search for members on both individual and organizational levels. NAW Launches Insurance Trust

The new NAW Insurance Trust is a health insurance program that takes advantage of NAW’s collective member company buying power, rewards healthy companies with lower premiums and offers the added protection of a pooled reserve fund.To be eligible to participate, a company must be a NAW direct member or a member of one of our member associations such as AVDA. 15th Anniversary of University of Industrial Distribution

AVDA is a proud co-sponsor of the University of Industrial Distribution (UID) celebrating 15 honored years of education in the distribution industry. As an AVDA member, you can register for the program at the Association Member price—a savings of $470 per person. AVDA and AEA - A Year in Review

AVDA together with the Association Education Alliance (AEA) presented a wide variety of educational sessions in 2007 including five webinars and four multiple day conferences. State Monitor Service Update

This past June, AVDA members were invited to access a new service through BuzzeoPDMA called State Monitor Service. The service is open to all AVDA members at no additional cost. The State Monitor Service is an online clearinghouse of information on Federal and state legislation and regulations to assist the animal health industry monitor emerging issues. DETAILS
