The NAW Insurance Trust is now available
to members in 24 additional states—making it available in 34 total
states. Members in tier 1 and 2 (indicated below) can request a premium
quote today, and are advised to do so approximately 60 days prior to
their desired plan effective date. Additionally, members do not
have to wait until their existing plan renewal date to get a quote and
enroll in a Trust health plan.
Here is the updated member product availability:
Tier 1
-
Starting with November 1, 2007 plan effective dates: AZ, GA, IL, MI, MO, NC, OH, TX, UT and
VA.
Tier 2
-
Starting with February 1, 2008 plan effective dates: AL, CA, CT, DC, DE, IA, ID, IN, MN, MT, NE, PA, SC, TN, WI, WV and WY.

Starting with February 1, 2008 plan effective dates for members with 51 or more eligible employees: FL, KY, MS, NM and OK.

Starting with February 1, 2008 plan effective dates for members with 26 or more eligible employee: ND.

Starting with February 1, 2008 plan effective dates for members with 101 or more eligible employees: NH.

The second quarter of 2008 is targeted for Small Group roll out to: FL, KY, MS, ND, NH NM and OK.
Tier 3
-
The second quarter of 2008 is targeted for roll out to: AR, CO, LA, NJ, NY, RI and SD.
The Trust will not be available to members
in AK, HI, KS, MA, MD, ME, NV, OR, VT and WA until further notice. These
states require significant regulatory approval from their Department’s
of
Insurance. We will continue to make every effort to gain the necessary
