AVDA 2010 Annual Conference: Powerful Positioning

AVDA will convene its 2010 annual conference in Napa, California April 18 - 20 at the Silverado Resort. This year’s AVDA Annual Conference is designed for those business leaders who embrace Powerful Positioning in today’s economic climate.

Strengthening the relationships between animal health distributors and suppliers has been a consistent focus of the AVDA Annual Conference. The 2010 conference will continue to offer

a host of networking opportunities and outstanding speaker presentations during the three day event.

The 2010 AVDA Annual Conference is designed for those business leaders who embrace Powerful Positioning. Mark Scharenbroich knows that success depends on building strong connections in the small world of the workplace. Mark has spent his career working in both industry and education discovering how some of the best organizations and business leaders build a climate that encourages people to perform at a higher level. David Nour will focus on a proactive approach to building and nurturing relationships through social media, providing improved speed, results and experience in turning everyday interactions into customer revenue, alliance partnership, employee and shareholder value. Peter Sheahan will show you how to “Fl!p” your thinking and develop a future-focused strategy for finding opportunities in a down market through courageous leadership, innovation and change. Ron Brakke will review how companies in the animal health industry are positioning their companies for success.

All Affiliate and Associate member companies are invited to contribute as a sponsor to our upcoming conference. The Annual Conference has become a unique industry event where animal health manufacturers and distributors learn together and build and renew relationships.

AVDA has had a strong response thus far from members pledging to support the conference. This year AVDA has two Platinum Sponsors Novartis Animal Health, exclusive sponsor of speaker David Nour and Nestle Purina PetCare Company, exclusive sponsor of Mark Scharenbroich. AVDA is also pleased to announce that long-time sponsor, Intervet/Schering-Plough Animal Health, has signed on as a Grand Sponsor for 2010. AVDA wishes to thank all of the sponsors who have already pledged their support for the upcoming conference.

AVDA is still accepting sponsorship pledges. There are six levels of sponsorship for the 2010 Conference available ranging from $1,500 to $15,000. These sponsorships assure the continued quality program that the AVDA Annual Conference is known to produce. All sponsors are recognized at the conference.

The schedule for the 2010 conference has been structured to allow for maximum networking opportunities. In addition to the Welcome Reception, Scramble Golf Tournament, Spouse Tour and the Annual Banquet and Reception, speaker sessions will end early on Monday to allow for more informal networking. This year’s closing banquet will be a night to remember at the historic Markham Vineyards  in St. Helena. The banquet will also feature a local dance band to entertain AVDA members, spouses and guests.

Join your animal health industry colleagues for a once in a lifetime event in Napa this April.
